Peace is something we practice within our hearts and give to others, one act of love at a time.
Can we imagine a world where peace truly prevails, where people live with love, respect, and kindness? Many of us dream of peace, yet it feels very hard to achieve everywhere. Why is that?
For a long time, I looked for love and peace in the outside world. I hoped that outside people, places, or situations would give it to me, but many times I felt disappointed. Then something changed when I began meditating on the name of Jesus.
Through this meditation practice, I learned an important lesson: love and peace do not begin outside of us. They begin within us. Jesus taught me that love is an act of giving, not receiving. When we give love, we create peace. And when we practice peace within our own hearts, it slowly reaches the world around us.
We can read many books and learn about many great figures. But for me, Jesus showed the clearest example of unconditional love and true peace. His teachings remind us to forgive, to serve, and to care for others, even when it is hard. We may not always find love and peace in the outside world, but we can always create love and peace within ourselves and share it with others.
So let us ask ourselves:
What if peace starts with me?
What if love is something I practice every day?
What kind of world could we build if each of us chose love first?
Peace may not be easy, but it is possible… one heart at a time!
