I consider myself a spiritual person, deeply connected to my roots, as I was raised in a Hindu family. The values and teachings of Hinduism have shaped my character, and I hold immense respect for this religion. One of the greatest sources of wisdom in my life has been the Bhagavad Gita, which I regard as a guide to living a meaningful life. From my parents, I have also learned invaluable lessons about kindness, humility, generosity and love, which continue to guide me every day.

While Hinduism remains close to my heart, I find myself deeply inspired by the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Please don’t misunderstand me, I haven’t changed my religion, nor have I become a Christian. As a Hindu, I still believe in and admire Jesus Christ. Why? Because what He has done for humanity is extraordinary. His life is a testament to true love, forgiveness, and selflessness.

One verse from the Bible has profoundly impacted my life: "Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you." These words have become a guiding light for me. They have taught me to let go of resentment, rise above negativity, and embrace kindness in every situation. Whether I am dealing with difficult people or facing any challenges, these principles remind me to stay calm and compassionate.

There was a time when I struggled to understand why Jesus was crucified. Why did God allow such suffering? Through my spiritual journey, I found the answer: Jesus’s crucifixion is the ultimate symbol of true love and forgiveness. His sacrifice wasn’t just an act of pain; it was an act of unparalleled love for humanity. His life embodies values like humility, hope, compassion, and kindness, but at the core of it all are love and forgiveness.

These lessons have transformed my outlook on life. They remind me that true strength lies not in holding onto anger or grudges but in choosing forgiveness and love. Jesus’s life inspires me to be better every day, not just for myself but for those around me.

Spirituality isn’t about boundaries or labels; it’s about finding wisdom and light wherever they may be. For me, both the Bhagavad Gita and the teachings of Jesus Christ, the Holy Bible illuminate the path to becoming a more loving and compassionate person. And that, I believe, is the essence of any spiritual journey.
