Life's lessons shape our path, reminding us to embrace change, love/relationships, forgive, and persevere. Invest in people, pursue passion, and trust the beauty of letting go.

Life is an incredible journey, filled with ups and downs, twists and turns, and countless opportunities for growth and learning. Throughout my own unique journey, I've come to realize that six invaluable lessons have shaped my perspective and approach to life. These lessons have become the guiding principles that I strive to live by each day, and I hope that by sharing them, they may resonate with you as well.

1. Nothing is permanent

Our happiness, our sadness, our miseries, or our fortunes, nothing is permanent. So, make every moment of your life memorable for yourself and for others. Live and help others to live, as we are all going to turn into dirt/dust one day. Live each day as our last day of life and leave a legacy of love and relationships behind.

2. We all make mistakes

I truly believe there is no one on this planet who has not made mistakes. Mistakes are a part of life, and we all encounter them at every stage, whether we admit it or not. So try to learn from your mistakes; people who learn from their mistakes are often more successful and happier as a result. Similarly, others can make mistakes too, and it is important to forgive them for their mistakes. Forgiveness is a trait of strong individuals, as not everyone possesses the ability to forgive.

3. Invest in people

We all like to invest our time, energy, efforts, and money in something; some invest in real estate, some invest in businesses, some invest in things, and some invest in people. There is no right or wrong in it. People invest in what gives them happiness. But I learned that our goal should always be people, because when our focus changes from people to things, that’s when we deprive ourselves of reality and of ourselves.

4. Follow your passion

There is a saying that where there is a will, there is always a way. So do something that you are passionate about. Some of us just keep doing something that we do not like just for the sake of money. I don’t say money is not important, money is very necessary for our living, but when money becomes our priority, that’s when we stop living.

5. Never give up

There will be many failures in our lives. There will be many challenges in our lives. But only those people survive who can overcome those failures, only those people sustain, who can turn those challenges into fortunes/blessings for someone directly or indirectly. So never give up, keep trying until your last breath.

6. Letting go and let God take the lead

I wish I had known earlier the immense power of letting go. Letting go isn’t about giving up; it’s about releasing control and trusting in the journey of life. It brings peace, opens doors to new possibilities, and allows love and God to guide us. Letting go of resentment about the past and attachment to things and outcomes, while focusing on the present, has helped me a lot. It's hard to put into words how much it has changed me. In surrendering, I found strength, growth and peace.

Life has a way of imparting invaluable wisdom if we remain open to its teachings. These six lessons – the impermanence of all things, the inevitability of mistakes, the value of investing in people, the pursuit of passion, the importance of resilience, the power of letting go, and embracing faith – have profoundly shaped my outlook on life. Live your life as you wish, but try to learn as much as possible from it, because we might not get another chance.
